Anyone know if a salvage yard selling Allis parts? I just bought a 180 that is missing the front grill and the housing that goes around it.

The grille "screen" ?? The grille assembly is the outer shell and screen all in ONE PIECE. There are three different ones from a 180-185-190-190XT or 200 that will fit.

If you are concerned about originality, you'd want one from a One-Eighty or 185, of which there are two versions...old and late model. To most people they look the same, but they are are stamped a little differently. If you don't care about correctness, then one from a One-Ninety or One-Ninety XT will fit, but have two horizontal cross bars across the screen. A grille assembly from a 200 has a pleated screen instead of the wire screen. They all interchange fit fit. The 200 style might have an extra alignment pin, but can be made to fit. Prices will shock you.

Not worried about originality - just want it to be complete.

I've seen the prices on Ebay starting at $450 to $1500. Found one on face book for $75 but the guy won't return messages.

Also had a little hickup. The tractor has a loader and one cylinder is leaking there and one of the rear 3 point lift cylinders is leaking horribly (pouring out). So we knew it was low on fluid.
Added 2 1/2 gallons to the hydraulics to get it to the correct level before we started it. The hydraulics would not move - the pump wasn't buzzing like they do when they are sucking air. Had a
skid steer lift the loader about 6 and suddenly all the bydraulics came back - and worked great. Do you think the pump was air locked until lifting the loader primed it?

Given the pricing I may just do what this guy did.

Maybe a little better execution on the top part of the grill and add a couple lights.

Well, sounds like it's surely been run out of oil before....not good for any hydraulic pump.
