Vac leaking oil

Hey all. I m a newbie here. I just recently bought a 1950 vac that was the tractor my family owned when I was a kid. It s the first tractor I drove at 7 yrs old.
It is currently running well. But it has hydraulic fluid running out of the axle seals about as fast as you can put it in. I am an auto mechanic so fixing it shouldn t be a problem.
I m guessing it s the seal between the torque tube and the transmission. And of course the axles seals.
Any thoughts? Any one ever seen this? Should I look for anything else?

Check the fluid level.
If it is too full, it will leak.
On mine, the hydraulic fluid leaks into the transmission some and makes it leak.

The VAC is designed to have flooded axles to lubricate the outboard bearings. Transmission original factory fill was ~28 QTS SAE 90 gear oil, notch near the bottom of dipstick is the full mark.

The link is a VAC parts catalog that covers your tractor, axles on page 52. Shaft seal p/n VT3749 subs to later p/n A30526. Common lipseal.

Also, if you notice the oil level is high, find the plug on the bottom of the tranny (mine takes 1/2 rachet drive) and turn it out slowly. It is possible the thing
is half full of water. As you loosen the plug the water will start dripping out. If it is water and not oil, open it a hair more and let the water out. When the
water is gone, oil will start seeping out. Tighten up the plug, and recheck your oil level. They accumulate a LOT of water if kept outside and not driven regularly.
