the wrong painted case is the 411b on the left headlights in the grill
with wide front axle

Over the years I've always referred to the Racine built 400 as the real Case and the 400B as the toy Case, seems to alleviate any problems. Larry

Yes, it has been discussed here a few times, why J.I.Case would confuse the world with like model numbers. Never had anyone make it clear to me why they would do such a thing, but they did. My Case 400, model 411, gas, narrow front adjustable rears is most often referred to as the BIG 400, or the Racine 400, and then there is the diesel 400 or model 403, diesel, narrow front adjustable rear and several other models with 4xx numbers according to their configuration. I'm not familiar with all the configurations of the 411b, if they were available with narrow fronts adjustable and non adjustable rears, eagle hitch and no eagle hitch. Your tractors look good, but then all Case tractors look good to me. thanks for posting gobble

tom turkey, thank you. the big 400 was perfect sheet metal wise.it was bought at auction. i looked it over well prior to sale. went to get it after auction n some clown decided to move it with their hook tractor. bashed bottom of grill in.i went to office pointing out frest bare tin and was told its 67 years old expect perfection. im like damm wow.
when it warms up i will get it right. appears to be an original well kept 400.its snappy on throttle.hard to see but has m&w add powr piston decals.
