I moved the selection lever for draft and height control then went to raise the post hole digger higher pushed the lever up to where you change the selection now it will not go down
I did not read the warning about not moving the seletor till you hold the lever all the way up untill after the fact. How do I get the 3 point arms to work they are stuck ion the up position. Thank You

The Selectamatic Hydraulic system is what I was trying to say. The selection lever is stuck in the up position and the arms will not move

Im not versed on the 1210. Is the lever you refer to the 3 position dial or the 3 position selection lever?

Also from what I gather there is a bleeder valve on the left side behind your heel that can be tried.

Hopefully RG chimes in. Hes saved me some frustration.

Is there a lever like this on the back of your 1210? And if so, what position is the lever in? Take a photo and post.

Do the arms lower properly when the engine is off? Put handle half way up and arms go to half way???

The quadrant lever(the lever you move to make arms go up and down) is physically stuck in the rearward position?

(quoted from post at 09:26:50 03/29/23) I moved the selection lever for draft and height control then went to raise the post hole digger higher pushed the lever up to where you change the selection now it will not go down

Selecting modes while not all the way back(select position) shouldn't hurt anything, it just might not shift.

You can move the lever up and down OK the 3 point arms are in the full up position and will not come down even with engine shut off. There is a warning label faded but there that says do not move select lever with out pushing the raise lever all the way uo to the spring

I know what the label says. I merely stated that there was nothing that could be hurt.

The lever joe shows is the rockshaft latch. It is a safety mechanism that mechanically blocks the arms from lowering. it rides cams outward to release. Many times the pins behind the lever are broken off and you have to pull the lever out.

Thank You for your reply, I figured it out, the lock on the left side (the picture joestewart sent) was moved I guess by the arms being raised in a higher position, I
never knew what that was for till now. With the warning label on fender I was afraid by switching the select level before pulling position level up to the spring caused
the Problem. Thanks again

The lever that I posted a picture of:

With the engine off, have a friend manually lift the three point arms upward while you move that lever to the 12:00 or 6:00 position (does not matter which) and see if your arms come down.

Note: if you have weight on the three point arms (like your auger), tell your friend to be prepared for the arms to drop rapidly.

Report back.
