H and M hydraulic pump upgrade

Just finished watching a guy reassemble the lift all pump on a MD and he mentioned when IH upgraded the pressure on those pumps there was a longer relief valve spring added to get more tension. Was anything else done to the pump to increase the pressure they ended up at? When I got my H it had been marked as having the upgrade but I have never found anything indicating my M had been upgraded. My H has a lot better hydraulics then my M has so either my M wasn't upgraded or it has a lot more wear.

Well if it was upgraded at a dealership then it would have been stamped , if it was done by the past owner in the barn yard probably NOT . It may never been done as it did what who ever owned it did all he needed . . So it still maybe the 950 and not the 1250 . Your only going to get somuch out of one of them in good shape . It also could be plum wore out . Ya got to keep in mind it could be older then me.
