Try posting pictures here. Scroll down this page to see where to add a picture. Also look for a 3 X 4 inch silver color tag for serial number info. Is it gas or diesel powered? Numbers or letters cast into the engine block may be a clue also.

i dont understand why even ask what model tractor without posting a pic. a pic will increase your odds by 99 percent. everything you typed means nothing without a pic. and 5 speeds forward and 1 reverse pretty much applies to most ihc older tractors.

Rustred ..... How about trying a little kindness for a change. How about try to help someone learn how to post pictures. It's crappy attitudes like you ( and others ) that are running folks off. Surely you can be nice occasionally???

i posted fact,... post a picture and happy to help. not my fault people think we are gods here, and i have no attitute just need the plan old hard facts. thats the way i learned things myself from my elders. u sure read me wrong.

RR I guess you could post wild guesses like some others? Just be sure to give your bad info in a nice way, LOL.

answer to your question , its very easy with a picture of your tractor. even tire sizes narrows it down some. farmall or international also helps. serial number helps. i can help but it takes info, while a picture is ideal.

How to post pictures:

"If you're not on modern view, switch to it. Then scroll down below the box where you're typing your message. It will say "upload photos/videos", and below that will be a little box that says "Choose Files". Click that. It should take you to where the pictures are on your computer. Find the one you want and double click on it. It should show up beside the little box and say that it is uploading. Wait till it is finished-sometimes takes a couple minutes. It will tell you when it is done. then go back up and click "preview" and see if it is what you want. If it is, click "submit" and you're done!

There are some limits on how large the photo can be--I'm not sure what those are. You can ask down in "Site comments" if necessary. But just try it first. If it works, then no problem."

Hope this helps.

Just take a picture of your whole tractor
and post that. We aren't going to be able
to read what can't be read on that tag any
better than you can.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but most
tractors can be identified by just looking
at it with no tag needed. By someone who is
familiar anyways. The tag (serial number)
in most cases, is only helpful in figuring
out what year of production.

IH 2504 that someone grafted a Case backhoe onto. 2504 would have been built 1962 to 1968.

looks like the same tractor with 2000 loader.

https://www.redpowermagazine.com/forums/topic/35830-found-a-2504/
says 3000 loader

(quoted from post at 19:41:22 03/28/23) I am new here and do not know how to
Add pictures to my post .

You also needed a minimum number of posts to activate your ability to upload pictures. That's usually 7 but it appears the moderators unlocked that ability for you.

I agree, almost 100% chance it is a 2504 Industrial. The Case backhoe is not stock.

Jokingly, would this be considered the first CaseIH machine?
