By not giving up the complete identity of your machine
some confusion has developed. You ALWAYS have to
remember that no one on this end of the forum has just
been standing standing next to the machine in
question. So it is always wise to give the best
description possible. By a reply to your post on the J.I.
Case topic section I am led to believe you have a Case
W9 wheel loader, see 1st link. Another thing that adds
to this confusion is that a McCormick-Deering W9
wheel tractor uses a carburetor built and designed by
IHC. The Marvel Schebler TSX 785 carb has a throttle
shaft that is oriented 90 degrees off from the
mounting holes to be able to even come close to
working on a Mc-Deering W9. I know someone chased
you over here to the IHC topic section but you were in
fact in the correct section to start with. The 2nd link
will take you to his post on the Case page. Sorry, I
cannot help you with you thread problem. It may be
that someone on the general Tractor Talk section can
help you.
