MF35 hydraulic lift adjustment help

Hi, All,

apologies if this is a duplicate post.

I had not paid any attention to draft control on my 35 until I did some plowing today: no draft control. Pulled lift cover, adjusted
as per I&T; pretty much exactly as the video that everyone cites does it as well. *maybe* cam is off as I had to adjust that by feel
as I adjusted that after the lift cover was back on the tractor.

As of now, no draft control, and lift arms do not go as far up as they used to.

Any assistance much appreciated!

thnak you

Bill

Edited: Pull the side cover and confirm both fingers are in front of the roller, if that is not it, then you will need to pull the cover again. It looks like there are some variations with some tractors and finger placement.

These drawings from Bigdean will help you

Hah! Are you serious? I got it THAT wrong? My levers are towards the front of tractor compared to the roller. Thats how it appears in
the rachel video and I thought in the I&T manual.

No they are ok it looks like Bigdeans diagram maybe for another model, here is a real picture of my 35 and they are in the front like yours

WRONG! The levers must be in the FRONT of the pump arm roller. I use the dipstick in the lower side hole to hold the lever rearward to make sure the levers are in front
when installing the lift cover.

Hi,

now that weve established I ahve the levers on the front.... still dont do right. Ill pull the cover again and adjust the cam. Any other suggestiuons?

thank you
