Ferguson plows

I have a set of Ferguson 3-bottom plows with a gauge wheel on the left which I use for plowing smaller fields. Last year I hit a stump on some new cleared land and snaped the cross shaft. It is 45 mm dia by 800 mm long (wide). Does anyone know of a plow salvage yard that might have one? Does anyone know if a 52 mm dia cross shaft will work.
Thanks in advance.

Most parts of the plows can be welded/ fabricated fairly easily. Are you Shure that you have a real Fergy Plow, as I do not think they used metric parts.

Only plow Ive seen what you Describe is a MH built with
MHF tag and stamped on frame. This was after 1954
when Ferguson was sold to MH. In the states.

(quoted from post at 17:33:53 03/12/23) Got a picture of what you broke?

I'm not sure from your description.
Sounds like he broke the coulter shaft. He has also posted be broke the cross shaft on his 3-bottom blow.
I lent my slatted HF plow to a nephew and he broke the leading coulter shaft too. worst part was he threw the coulter away thinking he could buy a new one.
