Snowplow for Ford 3000

Greetings YTers; I have the chance to purchase a snowplow, front mounted pusher, supposedly fits late 800 to 2/3000 Fords. It doesn't have any identifying decals. Is there a source where I might find pictures for reference? I know it's ford colored and I can see the Ford logo. I would like to know if the mounting holes match. The owner seems very knowledgeable and says they match but I would like some supporting info. Thanks, Gary

I have Ford snow plows on a 640 and a 860. These frames and plows will fit all 600 & 800 and the four cylinder 2000 and 4000 tractors. These a a pipe style frame.
I also have Ford snow plows on a 3 cylinder 2000 and a 3000. These frames are very different from the other frames. These are a C channel style frame.
It would take a lot of cutting and welding to change a mount from a 4 cylinder to a 3 cylinder tractor.
I hope this helps you.

RWK; Thanks for the reply. This plow appears to have a C or channel iron frame. It's a Ford color and the blade has a Ford decal, which appears original, painted on it. The present owner says it was a mount designed for and came off an 800 series Ford. Any pictures of the plow on your 2000 or 3000 ? Thanks, Gary

Tim; Thanks for the reply. I have that resource, used it on 2 plows attached to my 2N and 641. This plow is hydraulic and is probably of 60's vintage. A competing website stops their manuals just short of this model. I'm looking for a more current manual. I know I should post a picture but, being an old dinosaur, I'll probably be part of an oil deposit before I figure out how to post a pic. Thanks, Gary

Sorry, I am 300 miles from the tractors and they are a mile and a half from the nearest plowed road until the snow melts. Maybe by May if I am lucky. Now the snow is more than 3 feet deep and I hear one drift is in the 8 foot range.

I have a 7' snowplow that was on my IH 350 utility when I bought it several mongers ago. It is 42" wide where it mounts to the loader frame. I'm sure it's home made. It is For Sale. I'm in Springfield, Oregon.
All comments appreciated on what I should do with this beast

ya might want to keep it, as there is a lot of deep snow over there, I think every ten years or so.. LOL LOL

The plow for the 3000 square nose is different from the 19-80 frame for the 600/800. If he said it was mounted on an 800 make sure you get all the bracket cause something would have been fabricated. Blades will interchange

I had a 3000 w/a Ford blade, but don't remember the model #. It worked VERY well w/up & down pressure & hydro tilt.
