'65 Ford 4000- Aico Hydraulic remote

I have the pictured remote on my '65 Ford 4000 tractor. It functions. However the handles are loose and it leaks. I would like to remove and rebuild. What parts or kit is recommended to do so? I have never messed with these valves and want to have what is needed when I start the process. Insight and or links are greatly appreciated. I use this machine for my hay crop.
Thank you.

Aico is long out of business. You might
be better off finding a good used Ford
valve, or buying a new aftermarket valve.

Is there an aftermarket one you would recommend?

I believe that TISCO still sells remote valves for vintage Ford tractors but they are not inexpensive. I've owned two and both worked well and did not leak.

I also believe that there are less expensive aftermarket valves available but cannot help with brands.

Thank you

Hey cvogel, I think we probably have the same problem. I have an older Aico valve as well and haven't been able to find much of anything about it. I have searched the web for the last couple months with no luck. I have started matching up seals and hardware for mine but haven't made time to put it back together yet. This forum doesn't allow you to post pictures until after you get 5 posts so they know you're legit, but here's a picture of my valve. Is this what you have?

Well, apparently my pictures are too big so the site won't take them. Anyway, if I get some info, I'll let you know what I used to repair it.

Thank you!!!! It looks just like the one in this post. https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cgi-bin/viewit.cgi?bd=ford&th=409441

Link doesn't work for ome.

I have a dual spool AICO Ford remote valve that I have not used since buying it with caveat that it 'needed a gasket.'

Cleaned it up, painted it and repaired the handle mechanism but sold the tractor that I had planned to put it on.

Will sell it as a parts valve if anyone is interested.

Is this something like what you have?
I purchased this around 1980 from TSC for my 1964 FORD4000.

Bingo! That's exactly what I have as well. I wish someone offered a rebuild kit for it but I can't find diddly on it across the internet. I matched up some seals and check valve balls for it at work but haven't made time to finish cleaning it and rebuilding it.
