Ford 800/801 power steering

I have an aftermarket power steering unit I removed from a model 841. From a little research I think it might be a Charlynn unit. Cylinder on the right side only. I took the unit off because someone had done a rather crude welding job of attaching an angle iron piece to the tie rod, and the hoses were randomly hanging out the side. It looked home made and crude but actually worked fairly well. Is anyone familiar with these? Thinking of cleaning it up and reinstalling on another tractor only a little neater and cleaner this time.

Charlynn did build a P.S. kit for 6 & 800 Ford tractors in the late 50s and early 60s. The resivoir was mounted at the valve cover
bolt and oil supplyed by hoses to the normally mounted pump. One cylinder, weld mounted to a radius rod.Don't remember the valve except
that the orginal shaft was cut.

Thanks. Your description seems to fit this system. I asked the same question on a different site and got the same answer. I'm thinking about cleaning up the welds, a couple new hoses, and installing on another tractor. I did drive the tractor a little before I removed the system and it seemed to work fairly well.
