With the time I had to push the clutch pedal farther and farther
to engage PTO without ginding now I push the clutch pedal against
the running board and cannor engage the PTO (grinding).
What woud be the problem ?

Thanks in advance

Bart

Your problem is exactly like mine

At least yours worked correctly for a Time, Mine never worked.
I do not know if its an adjustment issues or if the clutch is stuck together.

I had a 41 Ford car that the clutch was stuck together on years ago had to split it and roll the rear end out to get to the clutch.

I am hoping some one can chime in here and help us both out

well... do you have the live pto model? anyway, if running, your trying to engage a stopped pto to a shaft... that is spinning due to the thick oil between it and the other shafts... So yes, if its a bit cold and the oil is thick, its gonna sound like a whale with a toothache. After the tractor is very hot, and the trans oil has finally got to 150 degrees, it will go down like a raw oyster eating contest. A orc should also be used to allow shifting of gears easier while doing pto work and stopping quickly.

If you do have the live pto trans,,,, make sure the pedal is set in the high position, but it also.....will spin/grind in cold oil.
