Group,
I'm hoping someone can help me out & tell me what I have. I believe it's a model F, but not positive. I looked for a serial number on the right side of the engine, near the front but was unable to find 1. I read somewhere that it's between intake & exhaust ports on cylinder 1, but there is a manifold bolt there.
It looks to me that the manifold has been installed upside down compared to all the pictures of the F model I have seen on the internet.
Anyhow, this was my father's project that he never got to & now I have inherited it. I have no desire to do anything with it.
A couple of other notes:
My brother claims he actually saw it run back in the 1980's when it was moved from Pittsburgh to it's current location. It has a gasoline tank & a diesel tank? Gas used to start engine then switched over to diesel?
The engine does turn over, we were able to get it turning using the hand crank. It was moved a few years ago from the other side of the property, so all the wheels have turned lately.
If someone would be interested in it, what websites would they be looking at? I am ready to part with it & have a scrap yard a few miles from the house but would be willing to offer it to someone that would want to restore it first.
Thanks for any information you could pass along.
