3 polnt lift on my dexta

I have a 1958 dexta tractor with a 2 stage clutch and the 3 polnt lift is not working when you put the clutch all the way down. Is this normal??

If you have a 2 stage clutch, do you know about moving the pin in the clutch fork? As JLMac has said the lift will stop when the PTO stops because the pump is driven from the same shaft in the gearbox. However, if you just need the lift and not the PTO, then moving the pin to the front hole allows you to declutch and stop without stopping the hydraulics. It is also a lot easier on your hip and knee as you do not have to lift your leg so high. It is also easier on the clutch as you are not working linkages that you have no need for.
