YUP got problems with the carb. I thought i had it solved buy NO , it is leaking gas past the needle and seat . Then i discovered that the throttle shaft is a bit floopy . A friend had a carb that has a tight throttle shaft but it has been setting for a vary long time . I got into it today and had a problem getting out the main jet to the point that we had to add HEAT and LOTS of it along with my good Panther Pee and a ezze out , needles to say the main jet and discharge is toast . Anybody have a lead on a replacement ??? i really don't want one of them CHINA made lookalikes . ea if i have to i can have one made , i just hate begging the one guy that could make one to do it . I don't have enough Crown Royal to drown out his WHINNING.

I found a place called A-1 Millers. I have never delt with them, so the following info is what I found on their website. They clain ther carb parts that they make are equal to or better than OEM. And specialize in parts for garden pulling tractors and repairs. If interested their phone is 573-554-9008 or 573-881-7229 hours are 9-5 central time. Hope this helps

I've used those cheap Chinese carbs you find on ebay for under $20 on four different Kohler engines. They work fine.

Good morning, timcasbolt and others: I have a Deere 212 with a Kohler engine & carb. The local Deere store does not really work on lawn/garden stuff much, they said carb could not be fixed, charged me 10 or 20 dollars. I found they chewed up a screwdriver slot, also dropped the main needle on floor and bent the point. Well, heck, I thought; I bought a China carb through Amazon. I had to "rig up" part of the linkage, but it has been working ok for several seasons of mowing my yard. So, some of the China stuff is ok...

Bought a new aftermarket carb from a place called (I Save Tractors)in Maine. Was good quality and worked perfect. He has a lot of parts for older Kohler and Briggs. The owners name is Norman.
