I have an odd thing; I put on LED lights, run directly off the battery thru a fuse, and they work great. Now however, when I shut off the motor, the lights glow very dim. Cannot be shut off. Also, and I may be wrong about this, but when I come in from mowing grass, the mower deck stays on, running pretty slowly. Then it finally stops. Any ideas? thanks.

Try pulling the fuse. See if they still glow.

Also, some leds seems to have a weak 'after glow' after the power is turned off, for maybe a few minutes. The LEDs in my shop glow very dimly after they are switched off. I don't know how long.

I forgot to add:

have a helper confirm the deck is actually turning. It could be a bearing in the clutch going out making it stay on. A worn out brake on the clutch will probably allow the blades to run too.

yes, thank you. They do still glow, i'VE READ there is a capacitor inside the LEDS, THAT POWERS THEM FOR A WHILE,
