I know what you mean, and I'm a dealer for Stens parts. I am shocked at what some of my dealer prices are for some items too.

Good morning: My J. Deere model 212 needed a front tire removed from wheel, replaced with new. I brought the tire & wheel assembly to the tire shop, $50.00 plus tax.

I too get sticker shock when looking at new tires but just the other day I looked at some ATV snow studs I have on my JD L110 that I converted to my get around vehicle and I don't remember when I bought them....years and years ago.....but they are still like new......so amortize the sticker shock and it shouldn't be such a shock......I will the next time I buy a tire.
