We recently had to find the serial numbers on all of our ancient haying equipment. We're going over to the dark side and applying for a USDA loan for our farm.
Never thought I'd see the day... but when they are giving farm grants to people building wedding barns... well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. And... when you lose 900 acres of hay ground within a five mile radius to solar panels...(that's another post)
Anyway, our old Grimm S8 tedder, when we looked at the plate, it said
S8 0001
What are the chances that this old codger is the first one off of the assembly line?
