I need to replace belts on my vermeer 5400 rebel baler. I have not done this before. How difficult would this be? Thanks Dan

When I replaced the complete set of belts on my JD rd baler I operated pto to expose belt lacing, hydraulically released tension on belts, remove lacing connecter pin, attached new belt lacing to old belt lacing, hydraulically lowered tension arm, operated pto until new belt was in are where the old belt could be disconnected from new belt then connect new belt end then install pin. Procedure to next belt that lacing splice is visible then repeat previous procedure. Complete R&R of belts with tailgate in a raised & LOCKED POSITION!!

That sounds like a fairly easy procedure. I wasn't sure if the new pin/lacing would be hard to install. Doing one belt at a time would simplify the job. Thanks Dan
