1956 MF compatible with 1960 MF 35?

My friend Rod has a gas z134 continental 4 cylinder in his MF35 tractor. It has an engine needing a rebuild particularly a better crank and couple connecting rods. It has a hydraulic loader setup that gets its hydraulic oil from a block on cover under front of seat. We put a new hydraulic pump in it and then shortly after that a connecting rod big end started knocking. He located a 1956 MF 35 and I wonder how much of the 1960 parts such as the loader set up, hydraulic pump, hydraulic block under front of seat would work on\in the 1956 MF 35. The 1956 has a Z134 continental 4 cylinder in good condition. Basically the 1956 is ready to go yet wondering if loader set up from the 1960 will bolt right on. We plan on going to look at the 1956 next week.

I've successfully moved parts between a 1960s Massey-Harris 50 and a 1955 Ferguson to35, top cover was a direct bolt on.
There maybe slight differences in the front axle bolster but it should work. If the 2 engines are continental z134 I don't see how the casting would differ. I know between my 2 models I would have to swap the flywheel to have the clutch assembly fit. And the MH50 has multipower whereas the to35 didn't, this would also differ for dual vs single clutch.

Maybe one of the more experienced MF mechanics can provide more insight.

Thank you for the replies. I need to find a good used gas Z134 engine or bottom end for this 1960 MF 35 gas. Or a new or good used crankshaft and two good connecting rods. I seen the ones for sale on here yet a buddy ordered used parts from place in Illinois yet he cannot recall name of business. We are in BC Canada so looking all over for parts. Thank you
