More 1953 55 progress.

Havent been spending much time on the 55 lately. Trying to make a living and stuff getting in the way. Which is good. Scraped a whole bunch more old dirt and grease
off and repaired a little bit more tin work welding up cracks in the seat and making some dents less noticeable. Super glad I have a parts tractor even though its a diesel
to get some needed parts off of. The latest was the draw bar because the one on the gas 55 is a mess. Any how its ready to come out of the shop to get pressure
washed off and then put the tin back on and take it to town to weigh it and put it on a dyno for a while.

ok, cause if i bring my WD40 to lacombe or Irricana you will need all for pistons performing. lol.

By the looks of the drawbar, that old girl has seen some hard work! It should put out close to 70 hp if it's a 1952 model or newer, they were rated at 69 corrected hp on the belt at Nebraska. I pulled mine in the 8000 and 10000 pound strictly stock class and pulled with the best in both classes. Wasn't scared of no WD 40 lol!!
Have fun

Ben

Yes centash I know where this tractor came from and it definitely saw lots of hard work. It is a 1953 by the serial number and I will be super happy if it puts out 70 hp for sure. Thanks.
