Lift Arm Replacement

I did a forum search on this but could use good advice.
The Cast Iron piece (8N545B) is broken on my '52 8N or item 46 on Fig F087 in the manual. I have found it on this website but not allot of information on the replacement except that it may be very difficult.

Do I need to replace the bushings when I do this job? and advice on the Splined Shaft is it thicker in the middle?

I have no choice on this so thanks in advance!

Bushings rarely need replacing. If broken one comes off easy just replace and go on. If doesnt see if other one off will come off. If so lift cover will have to be removed. Yes there are bigger splines for
rocker. Shaft will push out bushing. When putting back together, flip shaft end for end and reinstall. Has master spline so cannot get together wrong.
 
Advice given by others but I'll add I would replace the bushings, you have the parts off already. Bushings are deigned to take all the wear off the major part and
replaceable. I believe the splines are clocked too so you get them aligned correctly.

Update;Thanks for the advice! after doing more research I wouldn't be able to make the repair until the snow melts and I can get to my shop (3-4' and more on the way).
I found a guy who was able to weld the part back together using Ni-Rod. He is retired (like me) and knew how to work with cast iron and actually had a container of the rod that had to be 30+ years old. Great resource and made a new friend!
I got the Lift Cover back on and was able to plow the road yesterday. I am going to "baby" the tractor until I can repair it properly.
 
Mine was almost broken through when I got it,cracked about 75% of the way. I removed the arm,straightened it
and Ved it and welded it. 20 years later,it still works well and has not recracked. I have not babied the
tractor.
