Someone in the NW rescue this Super 88

It has frame pads which make it a Super to me. I've never seen a fleetline with frame pads. It's also my understanding brakes were transitional and overlapped. Please teach me otherwise if I'm mistaken.

This is an old post of yours:

These frames are also flat in front with mounting holes. The regular 88 (Fleetline tractor) did not have these pads or holes.

Also, I suppose someone could've mated two halves (fleetline/Super) to make a whole, yes?

-Furthermore, I just noticed the earlier hydra-lectric and hydraulic unit. Do you agree?

Look at the right side of thr block. The pads for the Hobbs hourmeter came out in early 1950. This engine does not have one. This tractor has direct acting brakes. They
were gone by 1950!

Going on what I learned yesterday, an early 88 dash. The pulley rod is by the steering column.

Going on the crash course I'm receiving in this thread, I can only assume it was used hard and somehow a Super frame ended up attached.

I think Blane Bolte was telling one time that his Dad broke the frame on his 88 when it was only a few years old
and they replaced that one with a Super 88 frame. Anybody else remember that story?

I stopped at a yard sale a few years ago and there was a whole row of tractors along the yard. There were three
Super 66s side by side, but only one of those was real. The other two had Super frames, but band brakes. One of
them had what must have been made as a Cockshutt rear axle housing. It didn't say Oliver or Row Crop on it, it was
blank.

I will take up collections if you want me to save it;).
Ive been looking at it but I have kinda lost interest in my tractors. I've been thinking about letting some go however Oliver's are a hard sell out here

Mr J is correct, it's an early series by
the hydraulic pump with those side levers
and hydra lectric on the steering column.
My 77 is the same.
Look at the little pedals, same early deal.
Not factory rear three point.
I'll get you some good pics Saturday.

(quoted from post at 19:46:00 03/24/23) It looks like factory but I thought the 3-point with the cylinder by the platform was only on the 66 models.
I've seen 77s with it there too. I'm tempted to buy it for parts but i just can't part them out.

The hitch sure looks similar to the one I see in the parts book but what do I know. I have something on a Super 88 I should photo as well and figure out if it's factory.

The seat looks to be heavily modified as well. Some front steps might make it easier to climb on and off. Price seems reasonable.

So the back half appears to be a 49. I would probably go get it if the back tires matched. I have enough tractors with old tires.

Now the ad is updated to reflect "ran when parked" rather than runs and drives as previously indicated. Guess someone couldn't get it started. Make them a lowball and go get it.
