1550 hydraulics

hello, I am having an issue with my 1550 utility hydraulics. 3 point is stuck in up position. power steering is spiritic .I have noticed if you move the remote levers the steering will improve greatly. it almost seams the system is dead heading somehow. I bought the tractor with a stuck motor got it running so this is the next step I just don't know the history of what happened so I figured I'd reach out for some advise before i tear into it. thanks for any advise!
 
Start by checking the relief valve pressure. Of course first make sure the fluid is up to level. If it's deadheading you should hear the relief
valve squeal. The steering circuit is relieved at 1500, system relief is 2200. Do you have a manual? The stuck 3-pt. could be the free play adjustment
is off.

I don't think he's cutting beans here today. I tried to pick corn after the rain stopped but threw in the towel, brought everything home and put it inside. I think it'll be a few weeks from the look of things.
 
thanks for all the advise guys got tied up with other projects this weekend hopefully I will get a chance to look at it this week
 
hi guys just wanted to update turns out there was alot of water in the hyd reservoir. The 3pt lift valve was stuck which caused the roll pin to break on the lever and the draft control. I cleaned all that out repaired everything. Then I found I had no power steering because the flow divider was stuck also. Finally everything is working properly just have to finish up some seat repair. thanks for all the help.
