Electric Pole Saw

Not sure about electrics as I felt they were too top heavy. (I do have a Remington electric chain saw that works well)
What I bought was a chain saw trimmer head that fits on my gas trimmer that takes interchangable heads. It works great!!

In March of this year I purchased the Remington electric pole saw and I have used it on 5 or 6 occasions and it works very well for me. It seems to really bite into the wood. I have a small 1400 watt generator that I use with it in the woods and I'm very pleased with the combo. I found the 10 inch chains were harder to find so I made sure to have an extra on hand.
Remington

I bought a Remington electric pole saw and discovered my Remington 14 inch electric saw will interchange perfectly. This works a lot better for me as I don't have to worry if a 10 inch bar is to short to finish a cut.
Nothing worse then using a bar that is to short forcing you to make dangerous cuts or be in a bad position when things start falling.

I've had a Remington for several years. It works great, never had a problem. Remove the pole and it is a very good saw for use on heavy dimensional lumber (4x6, posts, etc.). In pole use mode, I find that the head weight can usually be made to work in your favor to load the saw into the cut. As other poster said it might not hurt to pick up an extra chain when available.
