Homesick

I am in Phoenix this week for work. I miss the wife, kids and farm. My partner is planting beans without me. I guess that I won't get dirty planting, but I still miss it all.

I was in the Navy for almost 22 years,...I know how you feel! Best part is when you return home!

Hey at least your still in the U.S.A. just think how some of the guys that are in the service feel. My son is in Kenya Africa right now and will not be able to come home till Aug.

I'm in Tucson for 3 months doing an internship... Sure do miss the dog girlfriend and family. Also miss working around the house back in PA. Not much grass to mow or fields to brush hog out here. O well making money and getting credit for college. Itll be an experience but its definitely not home

In ten years in the Marine Corps, I can't ever recall being homesick. I had my own life to live, and home was just some place you visited every year or two.

Guess I came by it naturally. Once when I was in a jet fighter squadron deploying to the Middle East on an aircraft carrier, my mother told me she wished she could go along. And knowning her, there's not a doubt in my mind she was dead serious.
