Gleaner E combine

i was wondering if anyone knows what a gleaner e would be worth. it comes with a 10 foot grain head and a two row corn head. everthing works like it should, they are asking 800 but havent had any bites. does anyone know what its worth

800 should be more than fair if it runs.Old,small combines are hard to sell-they're simply too small to be used by anyone but little guys,food plot growers,etc.

Maybe you should buy it,before they feed it to the scrapmonster.

It would be worth just a little more than scrap price. The only market for it is small hobby guys, food plots or old iron guys like us. I think that eight hundred is kind of high unless it is in perfect shape and been stored inside.

The engine is highly desirable as it is the same as the Allis Chalmers D17 tractor.

That engine will go for $3-400. Bolts into everything from an RC, through the "W" models, and the D17.

I've seen several for sale in working condition for that price. If one came up for sale near Des Moines Ia, I'd snap it up. The cost of hauling one is big if you have to pay someone.
