Had a lot of damage to one field of Alfalfa. So we pulled our the old JD 10-14 hoe drill put a liquid fertilizer manifold on it and planted a forage sorghum. Planted it thick as we do not want it to get stemmy. Drill did not do much damage to Alfalfa. Could row it tis weekend. Tempeture has been 90 and above. Decided to give it a couple inches of water and liquid fertilizer this Sunday. I looked out this morning and boy has that stuff grown. Fertilizer was not heavy in N but was balanced for what the soil needed. It looks like it is about 14 inches high.

This is picture of the irrigation pulling unit and fertilzer injection rig. It is not a big fancy unit like Delta Red has but will handle 20 acres. We pull out the sprinkler snd turn on the water pump snd it will irrigate three acres in eight hours we can irrigate three sets in 24 hrs. Takes about 30 min. to move. It just sort of takes ccare of itself. I bought i 20 years ago. anf put it on a well tha produces 100 gal per minute.
