The crops are in, here in northern Otsego Co. of central NY. We had a wet cold May: which brings to mind the old saying, " Cold wet May, Barn Full Of Hay" bareing true. The alfalfa crop is great! We are very, very lucky that Mother Nature has spared us the grief that others are enduring. My heart is out to all who are unable to plant or harvest crops across this country.
Sorry for the double pic. I had several other pics. to post, but my rr server locks up this time of night. I'm on the tail end of the cable service, where I live.The Acg.

I've always wanted a 430 like that. Good lookin' tractor. Dad had a 530. It was a stout tractor for it's size. [subliminal message>(Sell me your 430)<subliminal message]
 
that case is beautiful, do you do farm work with it or shows ? It is real nice ,to perfect to work with! That would be a nice shot for a calender.
 
thanks for sharing the pics acg. wish i could talk my wife into moving back that way she is originally from cny, i love the country out that way. the dairy i milk at part time is still trying to get all their corn in and do 1st cut of haylege, our may was about the same wet and cold then all of a sudden its summer. i cut a small field of my own hay late last week just to try out my new to me equipment, planning to get some more done this week.
 
My alfalfa/ochard gras was 40 inches tall, thick and nasty. My Gehl reel mower conditioner wouldn't go through it. Had to fire up the SMTA and the 9ft IH1000 to knock it down. 95 degrees today and it got too brittle to roll or bale.
Will be up at daylight , moisture tester in hand.
 
Beautiful pictures. Suggestion: you should park that little 430 up real close to that big 'ol Case/IH front wheel assist at night and let the little feller nurse some more.
