I keep preachin to the 'newbys'(and everyone else!)about buyin books for their equipment, figured I should follow my own advice.Must set a good example!LOL

It's funny... I never much liked the look of those balers, but I do like the simplicity of the design. I'd probably buy one if I found one...
Good luck with it.

I'm repeating Timnj. Before you do anything else, go get a pto shield and put it on. Famous last words. "I'm always careful around that shaft"

I guess, but with that big old flywheel spinning and the open pickup right there why would you be off the tractor with the PTO running? Be careful guys.

I like the small diam of that pick-up. When we used to bale with an Int'l the wife used to get upset baling second cut. The pick up was so big that when going down hill it tended to just roll the hay ahead and spill it off to the side.

I don"t care about you grammar or spelling, but I would like to hear how you like it once you get a chance to bale with it. I have been looking at one like it, but have never been around one.

All I can say is, strange things can happen! A rolling shield will keep hay from wrapping on the shaft, too, should the wind blow the rows around while you are baling.
