Herbicide for horsetail?

Lots of herbicide stuff on here recently, so while we're at it, does anything kill horsetail, without killing grass? Its a very primitive plant, big root system underground, and even Roundup doesn't seem to do much to it. I assume it does photosynthesis, because its green, but not sure.

I probably sound like a broken record, but Milestone is the answer. Some horsetail is glyphosate resistant. We have had a big problem with it becoming herbicide resistant on the railroad crossings that we spray. We added 7 oz milestone to the mix and the problem was solved. It wont harm grasses and also leaves a residual. It's a vast improvement of 2-4,D and others in that family of herbicides.

Hmmm. . . I frequently tell folks that "google is your friend" on finding things- guess I should take my own advice!

Thanks, Jim
