Record highs and record high low set again today

Yep the news said today we set records highs all over Missouri and also at the same time record high lows. Not cooling down at night like normal and hot during the day. Saw temps in town today of 110, 109 and 105 depending on which bank or store you looked at. Oh well it should cool down in say 90 days if it doesn't then we are in real trouble

Just send me 30 per cent of your income and I'll make it cooler.

{well, that's what the global socialist movement wants you to think}

It is hot here also. Yesterday going to work temp on bank was 102°F at noon, today as I left town same bank was 103°F at 6 P.M. Don't think that is a record as a few years ago I remember seeing 105°F, but dang it is hot!

Funny how the weather guesser said it would be highs of about 92°F, yet it is about ten degrees warmer. In the winter, the same weather guesser says high of say 32°F, never seems to get above low 20's, go figure...

haven't started my tractor in over two months---no point, everything is dry -no need to start a fire. 112 forecasted for the next 4 days--then a cold front that will bring the temp down to a chilly 106. think I'll move to the south or north pole.

Monday Tx set an all time electricity usage record. Tuesday we broke the record that was set on Monday. Will probably break Tuesday"s record today. Power companies are requesting people conserve electricity or there may be rolling blackouts.

Set a record high for the date yesterday - 110. Since records started being kept in 1898, Dallas has only had 12 days at 110. Supposed to be 110 again today. No change in the 7 day forecast - all days 100+.

At 10:00 last night some places around Dallas were still over 100. Night time "lows" are setting new records. Most nights we only cool down to around 85.

News said there were four more heat related deaths. Really sad.

Wet the dogs down again last evening when I got home. Made some mud holes for them to lay in. Added another soaker hose and am watering more of the foundation. Water bill is going to be a killer.

This is really becoming a summer to remember or maybe one we want to forget.
