Whenever my 430 sits for more than 3 weeks it refuses to start!
new everything battery points condenser wires coil
I have power to the ignition but no spark.
Is the engine not turning fast enough? Is there a high output ignition kit available?
Yes I use Stabil . I even tried starting fluid

Have you filed the points? I've had cases where after I filed off the premium metal, the points oxidize very fast. I fold a dollar bill up and use it to "brush" the points, and it clicks right over.

If you tried stating fluid your not getting any fire out of the distributor. Take spark plug out of tractor connect plug wire put it against frame and see if you can see the spark from the plug???When you turn the key on and try to start???
