I finally got time to diagnose the problem of no dim lights. Both bulbs are burned out. I put in a used one and it worked. Will get new ones tomorrow.
Thanks for all replies

The one time that two low beams failed me at about the same time, the real problem was that the charge voltage was too high. Suggest you check your charge voltage.

Happened to me once when I was with Ford.

One of my techs tore his hair out for a coupla hours trying to figure out why a Tempo didn't have any high beams. Both bulbs burned out.

slightly off subject
I remember 25 years ago after building my house the electrician installed basement bulbs must have been the cheapest 1000 hour life bulb they had, anyway the fist one went and the other 3 followed within a very short period of time i can see this happen more often then we would think it does.

Years ago I desided to replace the bulbs in my office. When I turned them on only half of them came on.I checked for every thing,Turned them on again then the others came on,For 2 days the lights were speratic, they came on one minute and not the next.I then called thecinal service, the lady told me to check the voltage at each pin and I should have 2 mili volts, and it was speratic.I got mad and changed all of the fixtures still same problem. After several days the lady called me back and asked me to put the old bulbs back in,presto they all came on.BAD BULBS

Had a Ford Bronco II - lost both headlights within minutes of each other - Previous owner had same thing happen to him.
