Weather has been nice for baling a little hay here in Southern Minnesota. 38 bales from the two windrows here.

Nice pics, you must wax that thing! :)

Sure has been dry around here, second cut is only a few inches high for me. 1st cut was way too late, too wet.

do you mean wax the tractor or baler? The baler was repainted with a brush using Fleet Farm paint - Valspar - good stuff. All the green of the tractor except the hood was painted with JD spray ("rattle") cans. The yellow of the wheels was done with a brush and FF Valspar. I'm not real fussy since I use the tractor. Don't want a "trailer queen". Get up close and it doesn't look quite as good as from a distance.

Both look nice in the pic. I agree, useable, not showroom quality, is a good deal. But look nice.

I got about 25 bales to bale maybe Monday, really nice second cutting, but it's just short, didn't have any moisture to regrow. Been using my Ford 5200 this year, on the NH 270 baler. I pressure washed the baler during that hot week, wow there was red paint under the dirt and dust. Don't know that dad or now I ever had washed it before. New Ulm area.

Did you make it to the Fall Festival at Farm America? My tractor was in the line up display there.

Wow. Fenders and the whole deal. We pulled a 24-t with a 50. No power steering though. They work nice on a baler with that fast running engine. We had a 60 as well but the few times we put that on the baler we would shear fly wheel bolts. Always figured it was because the engine ran so much slower.

Maybe a little. It's from a lawn grass I planted years ago. Cut it with riding lawn mower for several years, then had time in retirement and decided to use it for hay. More fun than sitting on a riding lawn mower!!

Haven't been to Farm America in decades, it's on my list. Kinda forget when theirs is I guess. Did Pioner Power last year, Red Power & Clay County Fair this year.
