prestone antifreeze???

Just wondering what you folks pay for a gallon (normal stuff in the yellow jug).. Was just under 8 bucks last year here on post and just under 13 this year. Still well under (31/2 times) the cost of antifreeze on the local economy but can't hlp to think there is some price doctoring going on. Unless that's comparable to Stateside prices.

My local AutoZone has this for 16.99 a gallon.
But prestone has a mail in rebate for $7 a gallon (limit 2 per address) until 2/29/2012

So if you are willing to deal with tha mail in rebate you can get it for 9.99 a gallon. You can get store brand antifreeze for about this same price walk out the door.

I got two gal. from Rural King for 9.99 each with the $7 rebate so only have to pay about $3 .

Just came from Rural King. $8.99/gal and $15 rebate on 2 gallons, $7 rebate on one gallon. This is 100% prestone, not 50/50.

ended up getting it for $9.98 after dickering with the manager and taking 15 gallons.
