Draining coolant from 2005 1/2 ton GMC pick up

Decided to perfrom maintenance on my 2005 GMC pickup. Picked up new antifreeze yesterday.
Went to drain coolant today and could not find a drain valve on the plastic radiator.
Is the only way to change coolant to remove the lower radiator hose getting a bath in antifreeze?
Am I missing something?

Probably.

Many (most? all?) vehicles no longer have coolant drains.

Most new vehicles don't last as long as the anti-freeze. So why change it ?

should be a plastic drain on the bottom inside of one of the radiator tanks.

Glenster is right, I tried to reply when you posted this yesterday but my internet was on the fritzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Can"t remember which side but there is a plastic drain cock on one side of the radiator tanks. Tanks should be plastic too. You may also have a coolant level sensor too. Don"t pull that, real easy to damage the o-ring on it.
