O.T. Oh the good life. Music video.

Most of the tasks before winter comes is just about done for this year.Tractor is covered, wood is in garden veggies caned, etc.Snow predicted tomorrow, so now it comes down to heat from the furnace.Good bowl of vegetable soup, time for music from Tony Bennett and that inspired me to try and do a slightly different arrangement of the tune Oh The Good Life. Hope you all have a good life. Regards LOU.

Thanks Larry. Even when I get inspired to try and play, I make way to many errors in laying down the correct chords and notes. I blame it on OLD AGE!!!!.As for Snow, nothing yet, although snow was forecast for here. I want to tell you, your pictures you post is TRULY REMARKABLY BEAUTIFUL, and a delight for these eyes. Thanks again Regards LOU

ROY. Thank you for your kind reply. It's either I get more accurate in playing, and practice time comes ,now that most chores are at a standstill then I can try to continue, otherwise I don't want to butcher music any farther then I already have. Trying to re-learn the sequencer functions all over again takes up a whole lot of memory to operate. If it weren't for my son's efforts and his memory of the unit, I couldn't put together the orchestrations I need to put the final finishes on the piece of music. Time will tell. Regards, LOU.

GOOD JOB LOU,,,,,,,I dont think my beginner banjo pickin is gonna fit with that however lol Im kickin myself outa the YT Band

Anyway, that song kinda reminds me of the Paul Anka song (Sinatra did it) he wrote that was used in the film commercial "Do you remember the times of your life"

""Memories are moments that you bororw to spend when you get to tomorrow""

In keeping with your theme like an older buddy of mine always says when asked about his life

"Its been a good ride"

Thanks Lou, good playing, God Bless

John T

I hardly ever post here, just lurk. That started my Monday off nicely. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy your talent.

Thanks John. Just different style of music. No need to halt your playing. Just enjoy what you do musically. I do love Sinatra's music when he did a whole lot of music. Cant remember the tune you eluded to. Lyrics and music go hand in hand to form a mental picture for me. AS for your friends saying, "It's been a good ride" fits me to a T. Thanks again and God's blessing on you and yours. warmest regards LOU.
