Some other fellas have been posting pics of their Oliver tractors with plows, so I thought I would show a pic of my 1850 with my Case 4-14's plow. Ground was really hard for no rain the last 3 months here in Southern Minnesota. The tractor is a 1966 1850 Oliver gas tractor. And like others on the site told me, she likes her gas!! I enjoyed plowing with her though.

Hey Lyle,
This is my favorite tillage job. There just is something about seeing the dirt turn over and smelling fresh dirt in Fall that I enjoy very much.

yep, last fall I was plowin with a 4 bottom plow, I liked doing it at night. I was starting at 3 or 4 in the morning. this fall I plowed with a 10 foot chisel plow, but it just wasnt the same

Nice. I enjoy plowing too, but wife kindatook over the job the paat years. Bot complaining on that tho!

That is a great rig. I am still a firm believer in the moldboard plow. I in all honesty WISH I had hooked onto the ole Case 3-16s A model this summer I would have had the ground in better shape than I did fooling around with that chisel plow!!!

Kow Farmer, as you said below, the smell of freshly plowed earth is great, only rivalled as a sensory experience by the feeling of walking barefoot in the fresh furrow. Thanks for the memory.

They are a bit thirsty but they sure can get the job done! And.....they sound real good doin' it, too!

Hey delta was that plow made as on land or did you convert it

that plow is a factory on-land.can be 'converted to 5 or 6 bottom.
