my roosamaster pump leaks diesel out the rack shaft housing what is the fix? any help will be appreciated.

do you have a very clean space to work? Look at O ring, shaft and seal cups at the bottom of the blow up. Make special view of the shaft to ensure that there is no scoring.

The seals can be replaced with the inj pump remaining on the engine.
When removing cover "pay strict attention to exactly which hole" the spring under the cover is attached.
If the spring is attached back correctly the inj pump will not perform correctly.
No conventional seals on the throttle shaft. Just o-rings with teflon backup washers.
Much depends on what model pump and what engine it is on. CDC, CBC, DB, JDB, DB2, DC, DM, etc.
On some you can pull the tops off, unhook a few snap rings and the shafts come out without removing the pump.
On some others - the shaft lacks clearance against the engine block to come out and with those - pump has to be yanked off to fix.
On C pumps, it's a ten minute fix.
