Has any one used a snow pusher on there stone driveway ? I have a D15 Allis that i would like to put one one,What do you think ?

You will want some sort of runners to keep the blade from digging into the gravel. Look at the kind that's on a snow thrower or a snow plow.

Snow pusher works ok if the ground has had a chance to freeze if not you will spend the spring cleaning up gravel also what type of gravel in the north if it is dolomite works fine pea gravel or crushed rock pretty tough unless ground is frozen and whatever you do if snow is wet and not fully frozen you will not like the results but as they say giver a try

As mention by previous post you can weld some 6-8 runners on side that look similar to a front of a cross country ski it does help but still need frozen ground

before i black topped my drive way i would get gravel on the grass along the drive way . i just waited until the ground froze and graded it back on the drive way .

I mounted a Wester 7'6" plow on the ft. of my super H Farmall and it worked fine with the skids set for about a inch and half below the cutting edge on slag - and or lime stone . When i plowed snow with a pick up the Western plow did better on the gravel/ slag drive then the Myers did and if you set the skids to keep the cutting edge up that is what it did , not the Myers it would lay over and dig gravel - slag no matter how you set it .Just what i have learned over the years .

First snow, I drive a vehicle over the snow to pack it down, then as it freezes the blade will not push rocks or gravel into the yard. Here in MN a snowmobile works good for this too. Make sure you push far enough back to have room for the next snowfall.

I saw some good pictures on this site somewhere a few days ago show attaching a pipe to the bottom of your blade. Check your archives. I have tried alot of things but paving my drive worked better than anything I've seen.
