I was all hyped up over them things and the free downloads...Looked for louis lamour books and they were all removed from the free sites and cost as much as the book itself....... Guess I'll wait awhile longer.... Hope you get your problem fixed....

one of the suggestions was to download the book to your computer and then email it to the kindle( you have an email for the kindle). that is aggravating but it seems to work. just takes time. it goes into the documents folder but you can open it and read it. Louis Lamour is a good writer, never read him until this year. I have enjoyed the ones I have read. I usually get them from thrift shops or friends.

take a look at the "Tinen Massacre"- currently a free download civilwar/detective story that I'm about 20 pages into that I think you'll find interesting.

I got my daughter a nook for Christmas. It's the touch screen kind that is only black and white. The $100 one.

I was wondering how to share books with it. So far I've only bought her one book, the girl with the dragon tattoo is what she wanted to read first. I can see where this could get expensive without having a network of folks sharing books.
