Important Questions (OT)

My dad says you can learn a lot about a person by answering the following questions...

Henry Blake or Colonel Potter?

Frank Burns or Charles Emerson Winchester?

Trapper John or BJ Hunnicutt?

I personally am a Potter, Winchester, Hunnicutt kind of guy...

I pretty much gave up on the program after Henry and Trapper left; could've been because that's about the time that they started giving Alda more 'control' and he started pushing his political views.

My husband and I, plus our daughter, choose the same M*A*S*H characters (been watching re-runs on ME TV):

Colonel Potter (because he isintelligent and caring, yet still commands respect -- versus Colonel Blake who was basically a bumbling idiot who let the men under his command control everything at the base, though he was also caring)

Charles Emerson Winchester III (because though he is pretentious, he is very intelligent, funny and a man of his convictions -- versus Frank Burns who, though very patriotic in speaking, was rude, unfaithful to his wife, and would steal or would always take advantage of others and say very demeaning things to people)

Trapper John (because he is intelligent and caring, though he is a bit on the mischevious side, also because he only spoke when he had something of value say -- versus BJ Hunnicutt who just loved to hear the sound of his own voice so he blathered on needlessly and said smart-mouthed things thinking it was funny)

never really liked the tv show, I did like the movie very much. guess I am telling my age tough!

Blake, Burns, John

Old potter, to his credit, did manage to bring some life back in it, but it soon faded. BJ and Charles didn't fit in at all. By year five it was nothing but a agenda platform.

Henry,Frank and Trapper. The show was a comedy back then. Went all serious crap when they left.
