Hello Andrew,
If you ever get to Kearney you will have to go to the car museum that they put in the local Cabela's. They have a 1909,1919,1929,1939,1949,1959 and 1969 International(I didn't get a picture of the 1969). When I was a young tyke, I remember all my aunts and uncles having red International pickups--from 1950 to 1953. I always wondered why we didn't have one. I felt like we were left out.

LOL some of them old trucks were cool. My first pick up was a 51 Chevy 3/4 ton long bed. Wish I still had it.

From some of the IH pickups I drove while working for farmers I can say they were not a bad truck but would have abeen a little better if they had not been geared to pull a 5 or 6 bollom plow......in the field plowing. I did Love the 1970 800A Scout I had too.

There were two of them by me for sale last summer. I don't know where they came from because they were not all rusted out. One looked like it had been sitting in a barn for a long time. I stopped and looed at an F 100 made in the 60's a few years ago and it had 3 on a tree and when we took it for a drive my son started laughing when he saw me shift it. He had never seen a gear shift like that and wanted to know how I knew how to drive one.

thanks for the nice pictures, that is a great looking truck! My first truck was a 1956 ford 3/4 ton with a 272 y block v8 and a 3 on the tree I had what is called a farmers license in nj so I could drive at 16 for farm related uses,I drove at 16 most of my friends couldnt drive until 17, a nice perk for growing up on a small farm in nj
