Here 'ya go Lyle, this should warm 'ya up. This might be why about 1/3 of the vehicles right now have Canadian plates on 'em here in Deep South Texas!

I'm a transposed So. Texan.....yankee Texan now but the temps
are in the 40-60's or warmer for the week.

Down heah weuns call them SNOW BIRDS. Grin.

Enjoy your trip down here and bring plenty of money to spend.
Be sure and visit our local restaurants and try our fried catfish
fillets...with trimmings, truly a delicious meal and most are farm
raised right here in the USA and a southern tradition.

Plus 40F. And rain. Not typical January Michigan weather. Weather guessers claim we are going to get dumped on tonight. First ice, then 4 inches. I don't consider 4 inches a dumping. But they need something to be fear mongers about on the 6pm news.

50 in S.E.Indiana and glad it is because it has been pouring the rain all night . I am not a fan of pushing snow !!

Lyle, you're letting a little of that cold out the south door. 8 degrees with a 30 MPH NW wind and snow flurries here in NW Ioway. It's finally about normal for January here. Finally got the cattle shed remodeling project boxed in so I can run the knipco in there to take the bite out of the air. Jim

The temp is supposed to hit 60 about noon or early afternoon today, and be 20 by tomorrow morning. How's that for fluctuation? Ellis Kinney, Louisville, KY.

Yep -40 is where C and F are the same. Last week was
+8C. Only in Alberta... pity.

How do you folks do it????? Was 15 this morning and I didn't wanna go out.... 25 now and Im still cold.......

Some friends had the big dream of selling out and moving to canada and the promised land....... Then they heard about -60 temps and decided there's no place like home......

You gotta have a heated shop, or a woman that understands greasy pieces and parts on the living room table, to keep from going batty. And it keeps the population low, only people that are a little "off" would live up here
