O/T ...LUMPY, Old cars

My brothers and I used to buy and sell street rods and chick magnets. Some of the stories I could tell you, you,d wonder how we weren't thrown in jail and had the key thrown away . We had a '56 Chevy Belair convertible that I drove , and my other brothers had a '57 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop.Sold them when the offers got where it didnt seem like good sense to keep them . the newer generation dont seem to value the oldies like we do . If the right oldie came along I think I'd buy it, just to take the wife out and show her off once in a while>( I meant show the wife off , the car would do its own showing off !!!)

I grew up with the cars you just mentioned. I appreciate the old cars. I was never a plymouth guy, but years ago I bought a 52 plymouth business coupe. If I live long enough, I plan to get it running. It will never be a racer. I have a dual carburator setup, and plan to put dual exhaust on it, and plan to just make it a street cruser. Stan

I think the newer generation likes those models too as the prices are still through the roof on them !
