Summer vacation

Flying into Toronto on 12th July then spending a few days near Kitchener before traveling to Niagera for a couple of days. We will then have around 7 days to do some touring before going back to Toronto. Has anyone any suggestions of nice/interesting places to visit? Are there any antique or tractor pulls going on at this time or even any salavage yards worth visiting?
Any suggestions welcome.

Country Heritage Park 560 Tremaine Rd Milton Ontairo. Just west of Toronto, just off highway 401. Formerly the Ontario ag. museum, till the government thought that farm history did't matter any more. Now it is run by volenters. Look it up on the internet. Bruce

There are 4-6 Canadian A6 Texan's flying at formation several times during the weekend. In the past B-17, B-25 were at the show.

Border crossing can be long or quick. Avoid 4-6 PM on Friday's. View the Falls from the Canadian side.

Rochester NY is about 5 hours by car from Toronto.
Finger Lakes area has numerous wineries with tasting tours. NYC is about 7 hours from Rochester by car.

I grew up in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, and still enjoy going back there top visit. The area north of Waterloo is very scenic farming country if you have time for a drive. Visit the town of St.Jacobs, and the (very large) farmers market(s) in that area. Unlike some markets, it still has a lot of local farmers/vendors and their products.

Doon Heritage Village is another nice attraction

The bathroom when you are at the falls. The noise of the water sure had me headed that way.

You can't go wrong for scenery anywhere around the north side of Lake Huron. If you cross into U.S. at Sault Ste. Marie head west to the Porcupine Mts.
Lake in the Clouds is highly recommended.
