Versatile 150 II

Good morning I"m looking at buying a Versatile 150 series 2 tractor and was wondering if anybody was familiar with the difference between the series 1&2?This is the bidirectional tractor with the Perkins 236 engine. thanks. Frank

not for sure but I think that the axles are heavier. We have a 276 II and an older (not sure of number) series one. Without direct measuring the frames look very similair and the only noticeable difference is axles. I would look pretty close before buying alot of fittings and hoses for leaks to start. Also kind of known to catch fire easily.

mtjohn thanks for your reply. I'll be seeing it in a couple of days so I guess I'll wait until then to decide. I know of the fire problems but was thinking since it hasn't burned down yet that's a plus. Also I won't be using it in hay or straw so that might be good also. Once again thanks. Frank
