Man down the road from me pasted away.he was restoring a tractor and it looks like all he likes was the decals and a starter.Put the starter on teh tractor and it runs like a top.Just dont know what size it is.He has a date on it that is 1948 but the serial number is FAA48560.Nice tractor .what is it worth?this tractor is in mint condition.

Super A has--
* A square instrument covering the rear of the battery.
* Heavy duty fenders with 3 holes at the top rear for mounting the rear rockshaft.
* Hydraulic Touch Control system

45860 is an A serial number. According to the serial number guide it is a 1941 model.

All that really means is the left seat support is off an A.

After 71 years the tractor could be a mutant mutt built from the parts of several tractors, including other models.

If there is a big gaping space under the gas tank, and no large flat spot to mount something, it is an A.

I assume it LOOKS like an A.

It probably would be worth more if it had hydraulics, but I restored an A in 1975-1976. It came with the 16-inch moldboard plow. I only gave $100.00 for it with the plow, but it needed a lot of work. The engine was stuck, needed, rims, tires, fenders, wiring, seat and steering wheel. Ask the owner what he's asking for it. If it seems too high make an offer. If he won't come down and you think it's too high I would walk away. With the lever for lifting the implements it wasn't hard lifting the plow. They do a swell job plowing. I didn't have the rear tires filled and I plowed some sod with it. The tires started to slip a little, but it plowed it. Hal
